Emergency Energy Requirements

When the lights go out do you have a plan in place that will keep your family safe and comfortable for the next two weeks?

Are you prepared if the entire region loses power? There would be no electronic monetary systems working (ATMs, food stores are closed, gas stations are closed, banks are closed, most retail stores closed). Stop lights would not be working, pharmacies are closed, the airport is shut down, most computer systems would be down, and the communication systems that are still functioning are jammed. Your home would have no lights or appliances working, the furnace or air conditioner would not be operating, and even your electric garage door will not be responding.
